Turbo 350 Kickdown Cable Leaking

When i went to a friend s transmission shop to get a new speedometer drive gear for my turbo 350 he only had cork trans gaskets hanging on the board behind the counter.

Does it seem pssible that it could be losing that much fluid from this location when the car isn t even running. In japan especially in the city there are so many traffic lights and stop signs that the kickdown can actually be completely removed.
